The linear spray painting machine keeps long, narrow workpieces moving through a compact spray booth while coating the top face and side edges within the same pass. Two upper guns travel with the reciprocating arm, while two fixed side guns can be positioned around the profile geometry. This arrangement suits mouldings, strips, narrow panels, and linear components where edge coverage matters as much as the main surface.
Switch the Spray Motion to Match the Workpiece
You do not need the same gun movement for every profile. Narrower pieces can run with the spray guns held in fixed positions, while wider workpieces can use reciprocating top spraying together with fixed side coverage.
The spray arrangement gives you several ways to shape the coating path:
- Reciprocating top guns cover the main horizontal surface
- Fixed side guns apply paint to edges and angled sections
- Side-gun height and angle can be adjusted around the profile
- Automatic workpiece detection controls gun opening and closing
- IWATA guns are standard, with GRACO and KREMLIN available as options
Changing the operating mode lets the spray pattern follow the product instead of adding unnecessary gun travel.
Keep Overspray Inside the Spray Booth
Paint application takes place inside an enclosed booth with a water-curtain section and filtered air intake. Excess paint mist is collected behind the spraying area, while the rear stainless-steel exhaust section directs filtered air toward the external exhaust connection.
This keeps spraying, overspray collection, and exhaust handling together around the workpiece path rather than treating them as separate stations. Replaceable filtration material at the booth intake also limits contamination entering the spraying area.
Guide Narrow Products Through the Spray Zone
Independent infeed and outfeed PVC conveyors carry profiles through the booth. Adjustable guide structures keep narrow products aligned as they approach the spray guns, reducing lateral movement while the coating is applied.
For broader automatic finishing projects, the machine can sit within a complete spray painting machine setup or feed coated workpieces into the appropriate drying section. Where UV coatings are part of the process, related equipment can also be integrated into a UV spray painting line.
Keep Spray Adjustment Close to the Operator
The side-mounted HMI places operating controls beside the spray booth, while pneumatic regulation remains accessible around the machine. Spray-gun configuration, spray path, conveyor arrangement, and electrical setup can be adapted around the workpiece and coating process without changing the basic linear production flow.
