1. The core characteristics of wood suitable for wood texture wire brush machine.

Hard wood: can withstand brushing and grinding without burrs or fiber tearing (too soft and easy to fluff, too hard and inefficient).

Ideal range: air-dry density is 0.55-0.75g/cm³ (such as oak, ash, etc.).

Staggered/wavy grain: the process needs to be controlled to avoid roughness (such as mahogany).

Straight-grained wood: the texture is continuous and smooth after wire drawing, and the effect is best (such as oak, beech).

Good fiber toughness: The fiber is not easy to break and can form uniform silk marks (such as walnut> pine).
2. Wood texture wire brush machine are used with caution or are not recommended for wood.

Too soft wood: such as pine and fir, it is easy to fluff and tear the fiber, and the surface is rough and difficult to control.

Too hard wood: such as rosewood and rosewood, the processing efficiency is low, the consumables cost is high, and the natural texture is beautiful enough.

Wood with chaotic texture or uneven structure: For example, brushing of bird's eye maple may destroy the visual effect of special patterns.

MDF: no natural texture, brushing is not very meaningful.

3. Can the Wood texture wire brush machine control the texture of wood?

Correction of classic misunderstanding: It is impossible to create a texture that does not exist in the wood itself, such as pine wood wire drawing cannot become oak grain.

Texture enhancer: The wire drawing machine removes the softer early wood part of the wood surface through mechanical brushing (wire/nylon brush), retains the harder late wood, and makes the concave and convex layers of the natural texture more obvious, but it will not change the original texture direction or duct structure of the wood.

Application tips: It is recommended to do open paint for the subsequent painting process of the wire drawing board.
