What is Curtain Coating Machine?

The high-gloss curtain coater is a kind of equipment specially used for high-gloss coating treatment on the surfaces of various materials. Working Principle

Through the high-precision alloy aluminum curtain coating head, the thickness of the paint curtain is precisely regulated, enabling the paint to flow vertically like a curtain and be recycled. The panels passing through the paint curtain are evenly coated with a layer of paint to form a high-gloss paint film.

Structural Composition

Coating Supply System: Usually, a defoaming pump with defoaming function and a special defoaming device are adopted to ensure the uniform and defect-free supply of the coating.

Paint Circulation Device: It is equipped with a large-capacity electrically controlled constant-temperature oil tank and an oil pump. There are multiple layers of filters in the oil tank, which can recycle the coating, filter out impurities, eliminate air bubbles, and enable the paint to be used in a circular manner.

Curtain Coating Head: Most of them are made of high-precision alloy aluminum materials, which are rust-proof and corrosion-resistant. The opening and closing of the coating head are generally controlled by a pneumatic device and can move horizontally, making it convenient for operation and adjustment, and enabling precise control of the thickness of the paint curtain.

Conveyor System: It includes a conveyor belt and a driving device. The conveyor belt is generally made of materials such as PVC or imported 3MMPU, which are resistant to solvents, corrosion, and skidding. The speed is adjusted by a frequency converter, and the conveying speed can be adjusted according to needs.

Control System: It is used to control all parts of the equipment, such as adjusting the speed of the conveyor belt, the pressure of the pump, the opening degree of the coating head, etc., to achieve automated operation and ensure the precision and stability of the coating process.
