How to Clean the Paint Spraying System

2025-03-20

No matter what kind of automatic paint spraying machine it is, it needs to be cleaned and maintained after use. Some people may ask: Why do we need to clean it so frequently? In fact, the ultimate purpose of cleaning is to ensure that when the automatic paint spraying machine is used next time, there will be no situation where the residual paint affects the normal construction. As for maintenance, it is of course to make the service life of the machine a little longer. The service life of the equipment largely depends on its daily use and maintenance. Actually, cleaning it thoroughly after use is equivalent to maintaining the machine. So, how can we clean it correctly? It's actually very simple.

STEP 1

  • After spraying is completed, insert the suction pipe of the plunger pump into a clean thinner bucket. Enter the manual mode and adjust the atomization pressure to 0 Mpa. Move the spray gun rack to the middle of the conveyor belt. Manually start the conveyor belt and turn on spray guns numbered 1 - 8 in sequence until the spray guns spray out clean thinner.

    STEP 2

  • Remove the stainless - steel cover plate at the edge of the conveyor belt and replace the film. Remove the protective film on the spray gun rack and blow the dust in the spray chamber. Unscrew the atomization cap and wash it separately with clean thinner. Then use a dust - blowing gun to blow off the residual thinner and impurities on the air cap and the nozzle (press the sealing ring of the nozzle with your finger while blowing to prevent the sealing ring from being blown off).spray gun2.pngspray gun.png

    STEP 3

  • Keep the conveyor belt running. Insert the suction pipe of the diaphragm pump of the cleaning trolley into a clean thinner bucket to clean the diaphragm pump, the cleaning roller trough, the rollers, and the conveyor belt. At this time, check whether the conveyor belt is clean. If necessary, wipe the conveyor belt with a cloth soaked in thinner to ensure it is completely clean.

    STEP 4

  • Lower the cleaning trolley and pull it out. Clean the scraper, the scraper seat, and the cleaning roller with thinner and a cloth. Clean the paint recovery tank with thinner and then reinstall it in its original position. Push the cleaning trolley back to its original fixed position and clean the floor.

    STEP 5

  • Turn off the air intake fan, the exhaust fan, and the conveyor belt. Remove and replace the filter cotton in the tail box (replace it every 8 hours). After replacement, reinstall it in its original position and close the sealing cover.

    STEP 6

  • Turn off the main power circuit breaker of the electrical control box and the main air supply valve. It is strictly prohibited for the equipment to have pneumatic or electric actions when there is no one around.
