Advantages, Disadvantages, and Operation Methods of the Curtain Coating Machine

1. It is only suitable for the coating of flat substrates, not for the coating of vertical surfaces. The coating of objects with complex and irregular graphics is not suitable.
2. It is more suitable for coating hard products. Softer products, such as paper, cloth, leather, etc., must be stretched flat on hard plates before coating.
3. The coating film is thicker and not suitable for thin layers.

Operation method of curtain coater:

1. Use a thinner to adjust the paint to the required construction viscosity and construction humidity.
2. Start the paint pump and coating machine for trial operation. Adjust the width of the narrow joint of the pouring head to make the paint curtain form a uniform and stable whole.
3. Open the conveying device and adjust the conveying speed.
4. Use a test piece for trial coating first to determine the thickness of the coating film and the coating effect. After meeting the requirements, start normal production.
